Tropical Bouquets

It is normal for your flowers to appear dehydrated and thirsty.  Carefully follow our care and handling tips to insure full hydration and a long shelf life for your enjoyment. Please have someone available to receive and process the bulk boxes on the delivery date.

Each bouquet is wrapped and packaged with paper and inserted in a sleeve to protect them during shipping. They are labeled for easy identification.

To arrange:

  • Carefully remove the clear lid from the inner box and cardboard paper from the flowers. (Please follow the label's instruction).
  • Cut stems ½ inch.
  • Shake the bouquets gently to recover its original shape.
  • Mist the flowers and foliage thoroughly with fresh clean water. (Adding floral preservative to the water is recommended)
  • Place the blooms at room temperature in the container or vase of choice. The container/vase should have a minimum of 6 inches of water. Mix the package of flower food with the water.
  • To prolong the vase life of your tropical blooms mist them at least twice a day.

 

Tropical Flower Combo

Each Magic Flower combo selection is packaged with a cardboard liner that protects the blooms. They are sealed with a clear interior lid that locks in the humidity while allowing you to visualize the contents of the box. This environment will allow you to store your tropical blooms in this same box until you are ready to arrange your flowers.

PLEASE NOTE: There are ventilation holes on each end of the box, open these flaps for proper ventilation.

Tropical Bulk Flowers

Tropical Flowers absorb water from the environment. Therefore it is important to maintain constant moisture within the box (recommended humidity level of 70-85 % is best). Its ideal handling temperature is 55 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit (13-21 degrees Celsius). Its ideal storage temperature is 59 degrees Fahrenheit (15 degrees Celsius).

Upon arrival of your premium tropical selection of flowers, uncover the box and allow the product to breathe for 30 to 45 minutes. Later mist the blooms with water, close the box and store them at the specified temperature.

Flower Food Tip  

You can also easily make your own flower food.  Follow the steps below and you will give your flowers added shelf life.  This homemade flower food mix can be used for all flowers.                 

  1. Pour clean fresh water in the container or vase of your choice.
  2. To prevent the water from developing bacteria, add 1-2 caps of household bleach to the water. 
  3. For its nourishment, add 2 tablespoons of table sugar to the water. .
  4. In addition, 1 Tablespoon of lemon or lime juice provides citric acid which also provides nourishment for your blooms.
